Avon is a world leader in anti-aging skin care products,
fragrance and color cosmetics. Its product line includes
beauty products, fashion jewelry and apparel and features such
well-recognized brand names as Avon Color, Anew, Skin So Soft,
Avon Solutions, Advance Techniques Hair Care, Avon naturals,
mark and Avon Wellness.

What are the sales quotas?
As an Independent Sales Representative for Avon, there are no
required sale quotas. However, please note that an order must
be placed each campaign to keep the account active.
How do I start with this company?
In order to become an Independent Sales Representative you
need to review, and submit an Application / Contract. You
will be charged a $10.00 start up fee. The $10.00 is a one
time fee to cover all the supplies you get for signing up
with Avon. A new rep will receive 10 books for two selling
cycles, all the information about Avon(how and when it was
started), an invoice booklet, credit card slips and etc. A
rep may stop selling whenever you would like. The contract
does not say a rep must sell for a certain amount of time.
A rep may decide to stop selling at any time. If at some
point a rep decides to resign, a $10.00 sign up fee will
charged again.
What are the shipping times?
Avon uses UPS for its shipping method. Orders are packed,
usually within 1-2 business days of being received, and are
shipped Monday through Friday. A UPS tracking number is
provided. A representative will place orders every two weeks.
Orders are due on Friday by noon, and each rep will be given a
day to expect their order. For example, I place my order on
Friday, and I receive my order on Wednesday. I can expect that
to happen each time.
Does the company dropship?
Yes. A representative may enroll as an e-representative for a
fee of $7.50 per campaign.An e-representative has their own
web page that their customers can purchase items from and have
them shipped as direct delivery to their home.
What is the commission structure?
As a NEW Avon Rep you make 40% off your first 4
campaigns(about 2 months time) if the orders are $50 or
larger and you submit them online. After that here is what
we can make:
Licensed products are earned at 20% commission.(like
clothing or household goods)
If you have a $100 sale, you would earn 40% at first or
$40.
How am I paid?
A rep charges customers the price in the brochure and Avon
adjusts the bill so you only pay the representative price and
keep the difference. Your customers can pay up front or pay
you when their items come in.
Are "company websites" available?
Yes. Avon has a professional web page for a cost of $7.50 per
campaign. The web page also has all the tools a rep needs to
be successful at selling Avon. The rep interface includes
training videos, campaign tools, customer invoicing, an e-mail
station and so much more.It is definitely a great way to boost
sales.
Can I design my own website?
A rep may create their own website. For example if a rep has a
blog or another website already, they may place products on
it.
Where can I sell?
As an Independent Sales Representative, you can sell products
online at websites like a blog, online parties, through the
online store accessible via your E-representative website,
Offline, you can sell products where ever you would like.
Does this company offer fundraisers?
Yes. the company offers structure fundraisers. In fact,
fundraisers can be a great way to not only help an
organization, but boost sales and have returning customers.
Are training tools available?
Yes. There are many training tools. Training tools come in
written literature as well as online. Also, there are various
meetings and seminars a rep can attend if they so choose.
Am I required to hold home parties?
No. But, home parties can be fun and help promote your
business.
