How long have you been with this company?
I have been an Independent Consultant since 1990 and loved every minute. My business has allowed be to be a stay-at-home-mom and still contribute to the family budget, not to mention supporting my ever-growing "hobby" of stamping & scrapbooking! My team is consistently the #1 Sales Team in the company month-after-month with consultants at all levels across the country.
What are the sales quotas?
If you want to earn career income, I can help you. If you are simply "dabbling" in the business, perhaps your primary desire is to buy beautiful scrapbook products at a discount, I can help you. If you're looking to be part of a lively, fun and creative group, you'll want to be part of my team. To maintain Active Status and full primary discounts, simply submit $300 (retail) per quarter which is easiest to maintain buying $100 per month.

What are the shipping times?
What are the shipping times? : Orders are shipped from the Close to My Heart warehouse in Pleasant Grove, Utah, via UPS. In-stock items are generally shipped within a few days - our customers are so excited when that pristine white CTMH box arrives on their doorstep that they've been known to hug the delivery person! Expedited shipping options are also offered.
Does the company dropship?
Orders --whether it's an Individual Order or a Home Gathering (party) Order-- may be shipped to the customer, to the hostess, or to the Consultant. Lots of flexibility here.
What is the commission structure?
You will *love* this: you earn on your own sales & purchases, plus those people who join your team. As you recruit and build a team, it is possible to earn commissions through your fifth downline. Your total commissions are determined by a) your monthly personal sales amount & b) your leadership level. The base commission for personal sales begins at 22% and goes up to 34%.

How am I paid?
Another reason to love being a CTMH Consultant: the base commission is "pre-paid" meaning that you keep the first 22% of the sale and submit the balance to the company. Additionally, the corporate office handles the tax remittance to the states (a HUGE benefit). Additional commissions earned are paid monthly in the form of a bonus check. We also have the advantage of direct-deposit.
Are "company websites" available?

Can I design my own website?
To maintain the professional image and consistent product representation, consultants may subscribe to the company template websites rather than expending the time and resources of designing an independent website. This is for the protection of all Consultants.
Where can I sell?
Of course you'll want to start with a MyCTMH website of your own. You will see the most successful starts begin with Home Gatherings. We have training programs that will have you off on the right foot very quickly. Our tag line is "Faster, Simpler, Easier" and everything is designed around that theme --- from consultant training to the many "How-To" programs offered from Close to My Heart.
Additional venues include offering classes or workshops, crops, & other special events. Consultants may also be approved to participate in craft shows, trade shows, and festivals, etc.
Does this company offer fundraisers?
Close to My Heart has joined forces with "Operation Kids" (www.operationkids.org) encourages Consultants to host fund-raising events for this organization that focuses on serving the whole child: their education, environment, health & welfare. Support materials and training are available. Customers may also "round up" their orders and donate with their purchases. This corporate program is based on 'cause marketing' in addition to caring about the kids in our country. Operation Kids Charities include The Christmas Box House, National McGruff House Network, Forever Young Foundation, 100% for Kids, Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA), Best Buddies and Operation Smile.
Are training tools available?
Cutting edge training tools are available for consultants at all levels -- from the new consultant to the aspiring leader. Our in-house Training Academy offers a wide range of training including interactive online training.

Am I required to hold home parties?
Home parties, or Home Gatherings as we like to call them, are a GREAT way to meet people and teach them about our exclusive products and programs. However, Home Gatherings are only one of many sales opportunities. Some Consultants enjoy the casual approach of one-on-one meetings. You may find that hosting your own crop days to be very beneficial. Close to My Heart does not REQUIRE you to conduct Home Gatherings -- it's up to you to grab this time-tested successful method for Direct Sales.
