Scentsy began in 2003 with the powerfully simple idea of aromatic candles – decorative warmers with wax melted by the heat of a light bulb instead of a traditional wick and flame. Scentsy wickless candles are highly scented bars of wax called “Scentsy bars” that melt at a very low temperature in our specially designed electric warmers. Since Scentsy bars are not burned using a flame & they melt at such a low temperature, the “Scentsy system” poses NO danger to children or pets! Scentsy bars contain more fragrance than our competitors jar candles & Scentsy bars are less expensive too!

What are the sales quotas?
A consultant must have $150 in Personal Retail Sales Volume in one of the last three months to continue as a consultant with Scentsy.
How do I start with this company?
Joining is simple! Go to my website, https://tmaguirre.scentsy.us, click on the Start a Business line and go through the signup process. For $99 (plus tax), you receive a Starter Kit that includes Party Testers in each Scentsy Fragrance Category (EIGHTY Scents), 50 current catalogs, 100 Business Cards, Hostess Packets, Invitations, New Consultant Start-up Guide, 100 Order Forms, Scentsy Binder and Welcome Sheet. You also get the following demonstration products: 1 Car Candle, 4 Light Bulbs, 1 Room Spray, 1 Scentsy Bar and 1 full sized Warmer.
What are the shipping times?
Scentsy uses UPS for its shipping method. Orders are packed, usually within 1-2 business days of being received, and are shipped Monday through Friday. A UPS tracking number is provided. Shipping charge is 10% of the total order, or FREE on orders over $150.
Does the company dropship?
Yes. You do not need to invest in product unless you want to.
What is the commission structure?
Commissions and bonuses are paid on a monthly basis to qualified Consultants. You start out earning 20% commission on your own sales, and after you sell your first $1000, you will receive 25% commission. On top of your commission, you earn bonuses as you build your own downline sales team.
How am I paid?
Commissions are paid on the 10th of each month, via a VISA branded debit card. No waiting for the mailman! Your commissions are loaded directly onto your card, available for use right away.
Are "company websites" available?
Yes. The first three months after you sign up, your website is free. If you wish to keep it after this time, it is $10 per month.
Can I design my own website?
Yes, you are allowed to have your own website, with the prior approval of the Company, and some restrictions apply.
Where can I sell?
As an Independent Consultant, you can sell products online via your Consultant website, and/or your own website (with Company approval). Offline, you can sell products through in-home parties, basket parties, craft shows, events, as well as catalog sales. You can NOT sell on EBAY or in retail establishments.
Does this company offer fundraisers?
You may organize fundraisers with Scentsy, however the consultant agrees to donate a percentage of their commissions - Scentsy does not match or make any contribution. The amount you donate is up to you, the consultant. This is a great way to build up your customer base!
Are training tools available?
Yes! There are terrific online training videos and materials available on your online Workstation.
Am I required to hold home parties?
No, you are not required to hold home parties. While they are a very effective way to demonstrate Scentsy's products and to allow customers to experience all the wonderful scents, come in personal contact with your perspective customers and/or recruits, you are not required to hold home parties.
