How long have you been with this company?
I have been with the company since their "launch" in 2001. I am a "founding consultant".
What are the sales quotas?
The beauty of this company is that there are "no sales quotas"!
How do I start with this company?
To start with this company all you need to do is contact an independent consultant such as myself, and be prepared to invest just $199.00 plus tax. The amazing thing about this investment is that your "kit" will be worth "way more" than the investment, and because of our confidence in the company and it's success, you actually have 30 days to change your mind for a full refund! This month, January, you can actually receive cash back for the original investment, making your kit free!
What are the shipping times?
I always instruct the consultants on my team to tell customers that the shipping time is 2-3 weeks. However, that rarely happens. Generally product is shipped within 10 days or less. However, I would rather see customers pleasantly surprised than disappointed. The 2-3 week time frame allows for any problems that could arise due to busy seasons.
Does the company dropship?
Yes, we are very excited about this new feature. We do drop ship!
What is the commission structure?
The commission at a party is 25%. You receive your 25% the night of the party!
How am I paid?
You pay yourself your commission. You send your $$ from your party to the company minus your 25%.
Are "company websites" available?
Company websites are available for an incredibly low quarterly payment. The beauty of our websites is that you do not have to be computer savvy to have a gorgeous, incredibly functional personal website.
Can I design my own website?
You cannot design your own website, however, you can personalize your website with your own additions and/or ideas!
Where can I sell?
You can basically sell anywhere you choose other than a retail shop. We do not encourage a consultant to keep inventory. Therefore, we encourage our consultants to take orders for our product. The most ideal way to do this is in the party environment.
Does this company offer fundraisers?
At Southern Living At Home we are considered "Independent Consultant". That said, we can do fundraisers if we'd like to. However, the beauty of this is that we can set them up, set the profit, etc. anyway that we choose.
Are training tools available?
Our training is so incredible that I sometimes wonder what else I can possibly offer my new consultants. We have ongoing teleclasses. We have training through our website. We have CD's with training information. We have monthly optional meetings local to consultants as well as trainings from corporate in several cities across the United States. These cities are always located strategically to accomodate the most consultants possible. We offer "kick offs" across the United States. We offer an "Adventure In Autumn" across the United States, and of course we hold a convention each year! I tell each and everyone of my new consultants that there is "absolutely no excuse" for not being informed and/or educated with this company!
The training tools we offer are more abundant that one would expect!
Am I required to hold home parties?
You are not "required" to do anything"! This is a home party plan and we do believe that the "home party" is the key to success!
